The Improvement of Indonesian’s Weak Personalities in Japanese Companies Dinda Gayatri Ranadireksaa, aWidyatama University, Indonesia Email: Dinda.gayatri@widyatama.ac.id As a country with a large population, Indonesia is a potential country as a foreign investment destination, especially for Japan. Indonesia is also the biggest market in Southeast Asia with its 260 million people. Certainly the cheap labor cost condition in Indonesia is a good opportunity to invite more investors. However, there are plenty of problems appearing in Japanese companies, especially in industrial fields concerning Indonesian employee personalities. One of the problems is a misunderstanding gap towards its culture. For example, many Japanese think that Indonesian employees work less hard, are irresponsible, lazy, and so on. The question is: Are these beliefs true? To know what kind of weak personalities Indonesian employees have, this research interviewed six members of Japanese expatriates from three different companies. Also some Indonesian employees were interviewed to determine their thinking concerning the Japanese expatriates’ opinions of what is wrong or wanting so that compromise can be reached in the work environment. This research is conducted using qualitative method. Determining the weakness of Indonesian employees’ personalities, can lead to improvements being made and there can be work harmony with Japanese expatriates in the companies. Ultimately then, employees’ production and the job environment can be improved as well. In conclusion, the solution to improve the identified Indonesian workers’ weaker personality traits is by conducting appropriate training, giving compliments to their achievements and delivering a cross-cultural lesson for Indonesian employees and also for Japanese expatriates. During the master packing process, the three products will be weighed in 3 different lines, where each product has weight references (standard). This process is less effective when considering that a new product has a different weight are requires different production and manufacturing in turn. When the product does not comply with the standard, a rejector will work to separate the product, which will then be checked by the operator. This is usually done manually by using the manual scales l. Based on this, digital scales software is needed. The research methods used in this research are library research method, field research method, and laboratory research method. This study aims to design and create a digital weighing software using the ModBus protocol to communicate data from the scales to the program and to read the barcode usinga scanner through RS-232 serial communication. This new system will also use the jet printer to print the weight of the products with communication over UDP (User Datagram Protocol). The results of the design and testing that was carried out on more than 1000 products, is that the software was able to perform its function properly and give information about the weight of the product. The information on the internet is not all correct and useful and there are hoaxes, information that has no reliable sources, etc. The public does not know the rules of digital content writing that have value, are beneficial to society and do not violate intellectual property rights, this is because there is no digital content model that can be used as a reference in making digital content. While media literacy has a big role in educating the public in accessing information and also in making and distributing information if we are using references from literacy, we need a model that can be used as a reference in creating digital content so that useful information can be created which is an information medium choice. The digital content model is made referring to the social studies education perspective whose purpose is to create a quality society, useful for itself, the environment, society and the state, including for global society in the industrial era version 4.0 and is intended to become a factor to prepare the community to welcome society version 5.0. Six components are used as a chart of digital content model standards: Social Studies Education Theme Topics, Knowledge, Writing Procedures, Digital Media, Search Engine Optomization Technique and Copyright. Development of Law on Housing Collateral in Indonesia Joseph Andy Hartantoa*, Sulaksonob, aDepartment of Law, Universitas Narotama, Jl. Arif Rahman Hakim No.51, Sukolilo, Surabaya, 60117, Indonesia, bDepartment of Law, Universitas Universitas Dr. Soetomo, Jl. Semolowaru No. 84, Menur Pumpungan, Sukolilo, Surabaya, 60118, Indonesia, Email: a*j.andyhartanto@gmail.com The development of law on housing collateral in Indonesia forms a key contention with many studies lacking sufficient information on its viability. This study focused on various legal principles, regulations, and articles relating to loan security using housing as collateral. The study design took into account the analysis of secondary data, with the normative research perspective forming the basis for the selection of references. The findings revealed that the majority of studies on topics such as the civil code, the housing flat law, mortgage right, fiduciary guarantee, and housing and settlement regulations offer multifaceted perspectives for understanding the use of collateral in credit acquisition. Despite the strong support, the mortgage right fails to admit housing sufficiently as collateral. The question of guaranteeing a loan with housing as collateral raises the question of issuance of title deed on fiduciary terms. This implies that the housing and the land would act as collateral. Based on the findings, a conclusion can be made that housing flats cannot act as collateral to secure a loan. The Indonesian government should enact policies that will lower the requirements for loan issuance. The citizens should also be encouraged to seeking freehold titles to minimize communal land ownership. Pages 382 to 400 |
